5 Vegan gourmet Thai Cuisine Dishes

5 Vegan gourmet Thai Cuisine Dishes

5 of 5 starsReviewed March 22, 2014 NEW

Chef LeeZ started us off with going to the market and selecting fresh ingredients. With her professional instruction and demonstration we were eager to begin our hands on learning experience. There are no short cuts with the Chef. Each item is carefully selected and combined to meet or exceed the cooking and tasting experience. The five cooking participants were able to sequence the timing of adding each tasty ingredients with precise cooking temperatures. Chef LeeZ explained in detail and carefully demonstrated techniques to prepare sauces and combine elements of ThaI cooking. We were delighted at our results. The meals were excellent. The facility was very functional and her assistant was very efficient in helping to prepare our individual items to cook. We will definitely be better equipped to cook Thai food in our home country thanks to Chef LeeZ. A must attend class if you are in Bangkok. Happy cooking from Bernard and Marie the content Canadians.

Chef LeeZ – Review # 291 – “Old DOgs Can Learn New Tricks”

5 of 5 starsReviewed January 7, 2014 NEW

My friend and I took a 2-day course on 12/24 and 12/25. Chef Lee was very professional and taught us tips/tricks of the culinary world. She’s a stickler for quality ingredients and showed us what to look for and what not to look for (e.g., tricks vendors use to sell dried shrimp). I used one of her tips the next time I bought a snack from a street vendor (e.g., asked for freshly squeezed pomegranate juice instead of one already bottled – they add sugar to make the juices sweeter). She offers up substitutes for ingredients you may not be able to find in your home location. The class sizes are small enough for the chef to teach either variations or new dishes that are not on the curriculum. She’s also supported by staff who help to ensure that you have a clean work space and right ingredients. Chef’s English speaking ability is phenomenal. We were joined by a family one day and the kids (teens) really enjoyed the class. I highly recommend the cooking school for anyone. I consider myself a pretty good cook and I was able to learn not only how to make my favorite Thai dishes, but I also learned new cooking tips/tricks. I also compared prices for other cooking schools. The fees are very reasonable and worth what I learned at the school.

Chef LeeZ Reviews: # 1 T A Thailand Cooking School Since 2011!

5 of 5 starsReviewed December 26, 2013 NEW

Chef LeeZ really cares about food and about you. When you sign up for her class, she delivers detailed instructions on how to get there, her phone number to call if anything goes haywire (wrong line on the river boat to get there for us), and other helpful hints. The beginning of the class starts with a warm introduction to her and Thai cuisine, followed by a trip to an authentic market you will never forget. She goes through every ingredient thoroughly and every ingredient you should avoid using in your cooking. This was extremely informative and showed how much she loves food, cooking, her country and frankly, all of us. Now the cooking. Wow. I have new techniques down and a newfound appreciation for additives that may be complex to make but provide ALL the flavor. You just have to take the time and effort to get those ingredients, do it right, and make Chef LeeZ proud. We made three soups, two curries, papaya salad, and desert. The portions are just right to make it through. She was so sweet to put a candle on our sticky rice with mango to make my husband’s birthday memorable. We’ve had a great time in Bangkok but this was the highlight of the city, by far.
